ACTIVISION BLIZZARD ANNOUNCES FIRST QUARTER 2023 FINANCIAL RESULTS: First Quarter Net Bookings Grew 25% Year-Over-Year, First Quarter Mobile Net Bookings Grew Double-Digits Year-Over-Year, First Quarter GAAP Operating Income Grew Approximately 70% Year-Over-Year, Segment Operating Income Grew Approximately 30% Year-Over-Year. For the quarter ended March 31, 2023, Activision Blizzard’s net bookingsB were $1.86 billion, as compared with $1.48
billion for the first quarter of 2022. In-game net bookingsC were $1.29 billion, as compared with $1.01 billion for the first quarter of 2022. For the quarter ended March 31, 2023, overall Activision Blizzard Monthly Active Users (MAUs)D were 368 million. Previously, rumors and leaks suggested that Modern Warfare 2 would be the first Call of Duty title to observe a two-year cycle. This would hypothetically put an end to yearly releases that have become synonymous with the Call of Duty franchise. However, thanks to the Activision financial release covering the third quarter of 2022, players received some interesting news about the future of the franchise. Activision broke down plans for Call of Duty in 2023, which is set to include “the most robust Call of Duty live operations to date, the next full premium release in the blockbuster annual series.” However, shortly after the release of the Activision statement, reporter Jason Schreier indicated that the new CoD title coming in 2023 could just be “more MWII.”The reporter who has already covered Activision’s plans for Call of Duty in 2023 and 2024 mentioned that players should expect a continuation of Modern Warfare 2 in 2023 and not a brand-new title. Schreier believes that Activision could possibly “market and sell it as a $70 game with new single-and multiplayer content.” Although we do have Activision’s above statement as an early indication, Activision’s exact plans for CoD 2023 have yet to be confirmed so take both reports with a grain of salt.

General Shepherd never worked along side Makarov. In loose ends he killed Ghost and Roach because they could've discovered he planted private Allen in Makarov's team (that data was on the DMS, the device you capture in that mission). All Gerneral Shepherd wanted is to be the hero of world war 3, but he never worked together with him. I mean, Makarov nuked 10k of Shepherds soldiers in Call of Duty 4.

Only BO5 and Treyarch can save this franchise

So full premium continuation is code for charging ridiculous full price for a story they couldn’t create so they just continued with using the best parts of “member berries”.

“Premium” release. Their current game is broken and a joke from a company that makes billions

I still don't understand why they haven't done a Zombie style DMZ for Call Of Duty. Man that would be NEXT level.

I hate to say this, but I think the only time I will ever buy another CoD game is if they have Zombies. While Vangaurd was wildly disappointing, I'm willing to give the next one a chance. They obviously got the critical feedback they needed, and while I was optimistic about the primitive style of vangaurd (although somehow worse than WaW), it was still kinda fun for a short time. I'd even take BO remakes at this point, but im just a console peasant.

Waiting for Treyarch's next game in 2024 I'm looking ahead. I've lost complete faith in Sledgehammer here's hoping Treyarch can make a monumental comeback. Think I speak for everyone we need a high-quality zombies game, and ensuring it meets high standards

Until we got a full zombies only cod game, and it's ACTUALLY good and not like this bs system we've gotten for the past couple years, I really don't care about the game or the franchise. Good vid though.

Just deliver a finished product. The CoD community has been doing the Devs job for Years. We haven't had a complete game since BO4

Funny that every cod for like the last 4 years was supposed to have two years of support

Can't wait to pay 60 bucks for last years COD expansion. I hope it comes with a shitty zombies mode and everything in the game is reused from other CODs. What a time to be alive!

Cod should be dead at this point, nothing new and original big L for Acti

But will they put the full game on disc and not just a demo version of the game and it needing a 90 gig update?

We are basically buying an update that should’ve been free in the first place. Will be doing without 😂
