Hello, sir. My name is Leilani Azalia Putri from 3C. First of all, I would like to thank Mr. Dedi for his easy-to-understand explanation of morph & morpheme. Now I know that morphemes are an important lesson for languages in which there are words which, if analyzed, turn out to contain many elements. I also learned about the difference between Morph & Morpheme, morph which means the realization of morpheme (plurality) which is exemplified by the use of "-s" "-ren", etc. I also learned that in Indonesian we use more reduplication as do "para", "many" and others. Overall what I can take from this video is that it is very useful for learning and easy to understand. Thank you Mr Dedi for providing this very useful material.

Hello sir, my name is Kayla Rania Putri from class 3C. Thank you for teaching us valuable information about morph and morpheme in this video. I learned the differences between morph and morpheme because of the great examples in English and Indonesian. Additionally, the information about the plural verb forms was also nice to know.
Once again, thank you for sharing your knowledge Sir.

Helo Sir, I'm Siti 'Alma Sajidah Fauziyah from 3C. First of all, thank you for the explanation, it's very understandable both the explanation and the example. The way you clarify the different between morph and morpheme it's so detailed. So now I know morpheme is minimal unit of meaning that focused on the meaning. In English 's' that show plurality can be put together with word and produce 'more than one' or 'a lot', for example if there are 'a lot' of car, we can put car+s together, so it can be cars, which means the car is more than one. While morph is the representation or the realization of morpheme, which is the word "cars" itself or the finished word. Same as in the Bahasa, in Bahasa we can say para or reduplication for something there are many. For example para+pekerja is the morpheme, and the realization "para pekerja" is the morph. Once again, thank you sir for the great explanation, it really help me to understanding morph and morpheme more :).

Hello Sir,

First of all, I would like to thank you for the clear and detailed explanation about morph and morpheme. After watching the video, I now have a better understanding of what morphs and morphemes are, as well as the differences between them.

A morpheme is the smallest unit of meaning, and it exists in our brain. On the other hand, a morph is the actual phonetic or written representation of that morpheme in language use.

Once again, thank you for such an simple yet useful explanation, Sir.

Best regards,
Elza Salsabillah ALT from 3C

Hello Sir! i am Zahira Sufyan from 3C, i am a new student in class C, PKRS from 3F. Thanks a lot for breaking down morph and morpheme for me. I had no idea about the contrasts between them until now. I've learned that a morpheme is the tiniest meaning unit, and a morph is how it sounds.

Good morning sir, my name is Apsari Eka Putri from class 3C, I would like to thank you for explaining it, sir. The part about morphemes and morphs was really clear, and the examples in both English and Indonesian helped a lot. I also learned that English plurals don’t always end in "-s." Words like "women" and "children" have different endings like "-en" or "-ren, " which I kind of confused before. This made it easier to understand how plurals work in English!

Thank you very much, sir. When I heard about morph and morpheme back then, I thought it was a same thing. And because of your videos, I finally know the difference between morph and morpheme. So morpheme is a minimal unit of meaning (produced in our brain), meanwhile morph is a phonetic realization of morpheme.

In really love this video! Overall, discussing morphemes and morphs is a crucial part of linguistic study. A video that delves into these concepts with depth and practical context can help students better understand word structure and function in language. I would recommend always linking these concepts to real-world examples and explaining their application in analyzing more complex language patterns to enrich the viewer's understanding. Good content, Sir. Thanks a lot✨

Thank you for providing this material, sir. It helps me understand about the functions of them and you explained how morph and morpheme are intertwined each other in a simple yet understandable way.

From this video, I can conclude that a morph is the smallest unit of language that carries meaning and a morpheme is the smallest grammatical unit in a language that carries meaning. A slight difference.

Overall, this video is a gate for me to learn Morphology from now on.

Hello, sir! Thank you so much for the excellent explanation.

The video clearly distinguishes between morph and morpheme. The explanation was easy to follow, and the examples were very clear. I now understand that a morpheme is the smallest unit of meaning in our brain, while a morph is the realization of phonetic symbols in our written expression.

Hello sir, my name is Nur Abqori Salma from class 3E. so Mr. Dedi explained well the difference between morphemes as abstract units of meaning and morphs as their concrete realization in language. Illustrations with examples such as "books", "children", and "women" helped clarify this concept. He answered the question about the difference between "er" in "bigger" and "driver" well. He explained that although the form is the same, "er" in the two words has a different function and showed that morphology is about analyzing the structure of words, not determining the rules for their use.

Hello, Sir! My name is Syahla Nur Sya’bania, from 3F. Firstly, I would like to thanks for the simple-but-easy to understand explanation you gave to us. And secondly I will try my best to answer the question.
Why the lecturer has to clarify the difference between morph and morpheme is because perhaps there are still many students haven’t understand yet and often inverted about what is morph and morpheme. From what I got, Morpheme is the smallest unit of meaning in a word (and only focus at the meaning) while Morph is the representation of Morpheme in phonetic symbols. It looks different at a glance but, both of them probably have a correlation (in arranging a letter to a word(?)). For example, we do know that there are “plural thingy” in English—like our brain will automatically add morph (-s) in book (book + plural = books) and (-ren) in children (child + plural = children), each of that morphs are for marking a word as plural.

Thank you for this video, sir. This video on morphology and morph was incredibly helpful, and your clear explanations and thoughtful approach have made this topic much more understandable for me. I really appreciate the effort you put into making education accessible and engaging.

In my opinion, a morph is specific realization, the smallest unit of meaning. for example, in english, the morphemes for plurality is represented by different morphs as "-s" in "cats". But, in morphology is the study of how morphemes and morphs are structured and combined to form words.
