When the U.S. Marvel Comic ended in '91, and the Action Masters were being pulled from toy shelves, I THOUGHT THAT WAS IT! I was just going to hold onto my memories of this seven-year phenomenon for the rest of my life.

That it came back like a case of bad Energon, AND ballooned into a multi-million dollar franchise is STILL a shock to me. But one I'm eternally grateful for.

40 years seems like yesterday I remember I was 12 when the toys and TV show came out friends got some transformers and bought some to play. I was hooked from that moment watching the show getting all kinds of stuff related to the Transformers.
40 years later I still watch the original serie, and I collect the G1 toys

But for me, my earleyest memory of TF was from what might have been my 5th birthday party.

It had live action decorations from the first movie. All I remember was liking a decepticon logo ring that was on my cupcake. And then it left my mind for 2 years. It wasn't until I was like 7 years old that my dad got me some DVDs of the G1 cartoon and the 86 movie because he grew up with that part of the franchise. I watched them like crazy. Also I got an Energon dvd that suprised 8 year old me because I diddint know it was seperate from the G1 series. and the final episode of that disk ended on Shockwave dying horribly. And that was my first exposure to that high level of nuance. Lol.

I then kept up with the rise and fall of the live action movies and moved on like most others did. Even getting rid of the few transformers toys I had a few years later.


I just turned 21 this year and I'm not gonna lie, it's been a bit of a rough year me. But I also just got back into Transformers this year and it has helped me get through it a lot(Dare from Stan Bush makes me feel alive!) I am more of a fan now that I have ever been(current obsession). I now have collection of figures, and the 86 movie is probbably now my favorite movie ever and I have rewatched it over 10 times this year. This franchise is truly a blessing. I'm really glad I chose this year to get back into it.

I can't wait to see where Transformers goes from here. Hopefully somewhere bright and 'where dreams survive.'

Happy 40th Anniversary On Transformers & TMNT My Two Favorite Franchises of All Time I’m Very Much Proud Being Part of World in Transformers When I was Born 2001 I don’t know about Transformers when I first Watch Transformers Animated & Also When TF 2007 Film is was Very good Fun Fact My First Transformers Toy is 2007 Voyager Class Ironhide I have as Kid I’ll still have him right now but I just his Roof Parts but anyway when I watch Transformers Animated I got him into the Franchise I love the Show, The Storytelling & Characters Was Great with Toys Was Amazing after that I watch other Transformers G1, Beast Wars, RID 2001, Armada, & Cybertron I Love them same with TF Prime is Hand Down One of my favorite TF Show
