Living in Cornwall (which I love) you can often tell when summers arrived, the rain gets warmer 😂

Don't ever say you want A Devonshire Cream Tea and a Devon Pasty, you'll be ignored if your lucky or Tossed over Lands End if you're not😂

As a local I can verify all of them. But I got two more to add on. One if you are rich, please don't buy a second home here that you are only going to use for a few weeks of the year. Second homes have already sent many locals into hellhole council estates. Second, when in traffic please be polite and patient, you are 1 of millions coming down in the Summer on a network meant for only half a million.

This is excellent! I lived in Mullion on the Lizard for over 30 years so know all you have said.. One thing TO DO is the open top double decker bus round trip from Penzance. Wonderful scenery but essential to make sure the weather is sunny and warm!

I was seriously thinking about moving to Falmouth once upon a time..
But then I went out on a Friday evening to study the locals..
Saturday I was driving home and I have never been back!!

Great tips Sven! We live in Newquay and have some videos of the beautiful weather we have had so far this summer. We normally don't film when the weather is stormy or rainy, but after watching your video we should remind people that it can also be like this! Love your last tip about the Coastal Path!

I love Cornwall but detest what Land's End has become. To see it PROPERLY go to Sennen Cove and walk the cliffs back to the OLD land's End. You can then enjoy the glorious sea views without interference from that travesty built a little farther along.

If you make your own clotted cream then cream on jam works fine, because it not like
Rodda's which is thick and does not spread to well, if Rodda's clotted cream is warm
then do it the Cornish way, if cold try Devon way for a better experience. I live in Cornwall.

Absolutely: On the North Coast never swim where there are no Lifeguards, most of the popular beaches are Surf Beaches and have very strong Rip Tides / Currents. The Lifeguards are extremely good and Flag off areas for swimming and separate areas for Surfing, always pay attention to them. The Beaches on the north coast also have the little fish called The Weaver Fish that live in the shallows under the sand, their sting is extremely painful so be aware, Jelly Shoes or Deck Shoes are a good idea when Paddling.
The south coast beaches are much safer and therefore there are less Lifeguards if any and very very few Weaver Fish.

Yes Lands End is a ripoff, you are must better off going to Cape Cornwall less than a mile away, or visit Lizard Point the most southerly point.

Best wether is between June & September, because of the Gulfstream and sticking out into the north Atlantic the weather can change rapidly but there are plenty of things to do on a wet day.

5 million holidaymakers a year can't be wrong.
