I remember being at the 2010 Indy 500 and I always start down the steps about 3 laps from the finish because I sit high up in turn 4. There's a thud but with the hearing protection I couldn't tell what the sound was. Here comes parts flying across the track and the cockpit sliding on the track in front of me. It was Mike Conway.

Le Mans LMP1 is a joke. its just two exact cars racing against each other. LMP2 is not much better, you have the same identical Oreca 07 cars racing each other. Just imagine F1 race 20 exactly same cars. Only interesting racing in Le Mans is the GT cars, its just a pity that the manufacturers entering is getting less by the year. Unless Le Mans is changing the LMP1/2 series its going to kill itself. A super GT2 series with many manufacturers replacing LMP2.And a GT2 hybrid replacing LMP1 all based on road cars will bring Le Mans back to the 70 and 80's support.
