One of the most fascinating phenomena of our time is the pervasion of the AK-47 platform in almost every armed conflict in the world since it was created.

There’s a lot more now. Over 1 billion, over 85%, or 857 million in civilian hands. In the US we have 393 million firearms.

“…How do we arm the other 11?” Might be one of the hardest sentences I’ve ever heard in a Movie

The ones who know dont care anymore and the ones who care don't know. No fewer words could be said about governments in this day and age

Dimitri was so loyal to his nephew. His death actually slow Yuri down, even just a bit.

Michael Kalashnikov never thought his creation would become the symbol of resistance for free people and honor of war lords in the whole world.

Only lie in this movie was that it was Nicolas Cage who were dealing arms, not the Governments.

Bro you need to stop worrying about how to arm the other eleven, what you need to worry about is the price of the ammunitions... 😅

Ironically it was the actions of guys like this after the collapse of the Soviet Union that "secretly" hollowed out the Russian military that have cause the Ukraine war to be such a quagmire.

An amazing movie about a guy who’s still alive btw. He got freed from American custody and sent back to Russia in a deal where the Americans traded the biggest arms dealer against a trans basketball player who smuggled pot into Russia for their own consumption.

I still think its wild that we traded the real life guy this was made after for a pot smoking WMBA player...
