Have never heard anything by Billie Eilish before, but the way these two guys owned this cover I can’t imagine how I could ever like it as much as this! These guys are vocalists extraordinaire, especially since 1.) they started out as rappers who had to learn how to sing in English and then took on a vocal coach to really flesh out their abilities. Nico in the early Envy years was the more natural singer, at least initially of the two. But after taking on Valerie Morehouse as their singing coach Vinz, who was very self conscious of his singing at first, really blossomed and became a monster. I think it’s one of the reasons they are able to take a song like this and just literally own the cover. I just love these guys, and no other musical act in the world today has anywhere near the interest that these two command from me!

Yep, and ditto on the new album. This is written 11/6/23. Last song released by them was “Forever” in March of this year. Last EP by them was Elephant in the Room from 2017. Rumors abound that there are a lot of recorded tracks they’ve built up; the question is whether there’s been a concerted effort to complete an album. All we can do is wait!
