Time for a break! Join me for this restorative 16-minute practice created to support you in finding ease, a little grace, and some well deserved softness. Relax.

In today’s world, where there is a tendency to focus on the hard and fast hustle, it’s more important than ever to retain a willingness and the ability to slow down. It’s not always easy to do, but we heal and regenerate when we rest. Mind and body. We feel better when we take time to move slow and be still. Tap into the parasympathetic nervous system and invite the body to find a peaceful homeostasis.

This practice allows you to relax the weight of the body. It invites you to wring out a little stress. Bring your attention back to you.

Suggested Prop: 1 or 2 blankets. (A towel works too!)

If there is anyone else following the monthly calendar and feeling sort of guilty because of the lack of heat during this week, here's a little reminder to you (and to myself) that rest is good, rest is healthy and rest is necessary. Give yourself the time to enjoy simple movement. More strength is coming soon, but for now it can wait. And lots of love to all my fellow Renew folk, you got this! Namaste

We are in the midst of some of Adriene's greatest hits on this STILL calendar. Get to the mat and release. In the least, lie in a burrito of love. And at the end, join me as I roll off my much-narrower-than-Adriene's mat onto a cold floor. Yesterday, we dropped straight from an extended summer into late fall. Almost made it to freezing last night. But no matter, I just hope early fall returns. I do not want to miss my favorite season.
