Thanks mate! Doing this is a job that I only have to do every few years… I seem to forget how to do it so your video reminded me I’ve just how simple it is… Thank you

Absolutely, some smaller 2 stroke engines are run their whole life on 16-1. What gums up carbs is the ethanol in the gas. I personally run a high quality synthetic oil at 25-1 and had never had an engine failure at that ratio. Did have an air cooled snowmobile engine seize using 50-1 which I think cleaning the carb and running more oil would have prevented that.

I wish all videos could be like this no dribbing shit just straight to what needs to be done .

I disagree regarding using any cheap oil, use proper two stroke oil, mixed correctly.

So if i was just using the 5ltr can.... is it just 100 ml of oil correct??

You should only mix it at a 50:1 ratio or you can ruin your engine and gum up your carberator.

Sorry mate but this video was still a fail. I don’t understand why it’s hard to actually bring the measuring cup to the screen and physically show exactly how to pour the correct mix. Not 5L or 2L, but exactly like the measurements say on the tool 50:1 or 25:1.
