El Elyon: The Most High God

Is God sovereign over the affairs of men or is He not? In a presidential election year this question couldn't be any more important. Will it be the end of the world as we know it, if we don't get the desired outcome?

Is God just a passive spectator? What role does He play in all of this? And do we have to help God out? Or is His sovereign power more than sufficient?

To know how to navigate this world at this time, we need the Bible to remind us of the Most High God and His dealings with people in the past. Doing so might just give us hope and direction for today.
