I always check the internet before uploading a patch. Won't be installing any updates until this is resolved. Sucks I can't access the internet, trophies or play my downloaded games but better then risking a bricked console.

The slim has problems too because after downloading the update my ps4 slim isn't loading any games at all it just shows the unrecognised disc error

Cuz of that update, even when I try to initialize my ps4 pro to get out of safe mode it doesn't get me out of the safe mode loop. That's how hard my ps4 has been messed with

They messed up my disc reader. My ps4 can’t read any game discs. They forced me to get the update. I couldn’t play any digital games and they logged me out of my account.

My PlayStation4 just completely stopped working, it stays in safe mode saying it actually needs the 9.0, an have to manually do it with a USB, that I’ve tried an still doesn’t work

Iv tried everything even all safe mode option and I’ll let it run and it’s crashes and I have to redo it all the next day and it will do it again any opinion? 9.0 really messed a lot of ppl stuff up

My ps4 went in saft mode after the update and i had hill to get back in it the only way i could of get back the the mean screen was option #7 so make it right back to the day that i buy it so i lost everything and i didn't had playstation plus for two year's so lost alot of save data

This sucks I knew something was up when it took ages to do things I thought maybe my shot was dirty opened it up and cleaned it turned it back on and the update just keeps going in a loop

I have not update my Ps4 should I wait because I never had problems with updates in the past and is it mandatory to update and with out update can i use netflix and YouTube on my ps4

Glad that my ps4 has been shelved since may cuz I got a ps5. Defo wouldn't want this to break my system
