Fun fact: There was a Soviet project where a TB-3 bomber was used to carry I-16 and some biplanes (up to 6, I think). The engines of the fighters were kept running to increase the bomber’s speed by getting fuel from extra tanks. In one mission, German fighters ignored the I-16’s due to their impossibility of them reaching that far from the USSR and carried successful multiple raids, unfortunately their success was short-lives. This is basically the equivalent of that. Now that I think about it, this wouldn’t be that bad of an April Fools event.

This is a soviet invention they put plane on bomber because the planes didn't have enough fuel to allow the planes to support bombers into other territory so they put planes on top of the bomber with a fuel tank so they could detact off when needing. PLS PIN ME 😂
