I personally think that kids should not think coding will ever be their career. I believe that the rapid upward trend of AI has put most careers that include coding in jeopardy. I do think that coding can be a great hobby, and that much can still be accomplished with this skill. Even the CEO of Nvidia, Jen-Hsun Huang has come out and said that kids should no longer be taught how to code. But this is coming from a 13 year old so you can think what you want.
