Celtic Weave Stitch - Crochet Cable Stitch - With Slow Motion - Left Handed Tutorial

The Celtic Weave Stitch is the most beautiful Crochet Cable Stitch I've ever seen. It's also an easy crochet cable stitch to create as well! The front and back post Triples crochets make this it easy to maneuver your hook around and repeat the pattern.

Without that I wouldn't have made a whole afghan out of it for my daughter! Which she still pulls out to use every winter.

My mother in law who doesn't speak much English took a look at the video tutorial and told me even she could understand it by just looking, so If you've had any trouble learning this stitch in the past, I recommend watching it and giving it another try.

I saw pictures of this stitch on Pinterest and couldn't figure out how to do it. I kept hoping someone would figure it out so I could make an afghan from it.

I finally found a channel named @Patronarte again, she has reuploaded her original video

The free crochet pattern for the Celtic Cable Weave stitch can be found here:

This is a beautiful stitch. Your instructions are so clear and precise, the slow motion is a bonus!!!! Thank you so much for this. I thought crocodile stitch was complicated, but once you understand the pattern it gets easier! You are the bomb!!!!

I am glad you did this in English. I found it a while ago:  Crochet : Punto Entrecruzado Plano by TejiendodeCorazon.  It looked great, but I don't speak Spanish so I lost a lot.  So thank you! This pattern should be learned and shared by all.

A fun stitch - looks great. But I have a chunky wool and the result is too thick for a toddler blanket, though it looks really nice. Might try another of your tutorials as I’ve used four balls of yarn in five rows - if I keep going, this blanket will cost a small fortune!

When you are using a quadruple crochet cross, do you still use the half double for the edges? Or do you need to switch to a double crochet instead?

My apologies but I am unable to see what you are doing properly because the picture quality is not good, is there a written  tutorial that I can read in conjunction with your video please

It looks like you are going through only the front of the stitch when you are double crochet not both top loops of the stitch.  Can you clarify this for me.  Thans.
