Stop lifetime salaries for politicians and health insurance.

1. Revoke the Citizens United ruling
2. Set term limits in Congress
3. Eliminate lifetime pay and healthcare for politicians
4. Limits on PAC funding,
5. Eliminate Dark Money

And most importantly no citizen will continue to pay taxes until this is ratified into law!!!!

I'll be retiring soon, and because of bad choices I made, we'll just have my and my wife's social security.
But we knew this was coming and paid off all our debt.
We'll be ok.
It helps that we have no expensive habits.

They tax our income 25%. Then we pay 10% sales tax on everything we buy. Gasoline tax. Hotel tax. Property tax. Tolls. License tax. Car tax. WE WOULD BE FINE IF THE DAMN GOVERNMENT WOULD KEEP THEIR HANDS OFF OF OUR MONEY!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

The fact that they have us pay into it, then call it a "benefit, " then have the balls to use it as they wish and then call it impossible to sustain is absolutely disgusting. It's our money,

It’s absolutely possible to live off 2-3 thousand a month. I’m basically there myself right now. I’ll write it out based on my current budget.

$400 taxes/insurance (paid off home)
$500 food
$200 car gas/maintenance
$600 miscellaneous spending (clothes, hobbies, etc)
$400 health related (I don’t spend this but you need it in retirement)

It's crazy! How is that even possible with the cost of living these days?

All Congress and retired politicians should make the same as those on SS. Our elderly and disabled would see the biggest raise in history.

Stop working
Stop paying bills and mortgages
Start taking time to yourself

Watch how long the corporate world lasts!

I guarantee you win!

As long as everyone is in together

I am 71 yrs old. One eye functions and the other is legally blind. I have glaucoma and macular degeneration. I am also about 80% deaf. I work part time. My husband died from cancer and he had a Medicare advantage plan. For the last 4&1/2 years I have paid thousands 😮😮of dollars of debt. There was no savings or retirement as costs ate through it. My Medicare check pays my rent and I am left with $4.00 for bills, groceries and my office visits to the eye doctor. I don’t know how mu h longer I can afford my living expenses. The real blessing is that I grow some of my own food. The bigger blessing is that my trunk is packed full of camping gear. Don’t know where I will go but I do have a little going for me there. I have worked for 52 years.
Everything will be paid off the end of September. I feel badly for some of you as you never asked for this mess. The sad truth is corruption will never fail to set the stage for the inevitable betrayal.
