Did some initial testing yesterday with with track mode V2 on the Model 3 with Mountain Pass Performance suspension - basically spent the whole day re-learning the car since it actually behaves more like a rwd sports car now - even the base tune felt improved without messing with the track mode settings. It seems like now you don't need to force the car as much by throwing it around.

We found that 40/60 on the balance and 0 (default) on the stability control worked well, at least at the site we were at which was fairly low grip. We tried more rearward bias up to 25/75 and also less stability control down to -5 but the car was slower and less predictable - more sideways, but not in places that helped. Still need to do a lot more testing.

Double-Adjustable suspension by Mountain Pass Performance!

Great video. I just got my update yesterday and no time to test until next week. My initial impression of v2 is I love the additional features and it shows Tesla is paying attention to autocross and track drivers. I briefly drove the car and played with front and rear bias. What I noticed was in a straight line the car is AWD and in the corners defaults to you front or rear bias setting. Was that your impression too?

I’ve owned Tesla vehicles for a long time but the OTA updates still amaze me. Happy driving!

Holy balls that was brilliant. Did you feel that the update was helpful for your autoX? Definitely got the tires talking a bit. I’m waiting on the update now as well. Hoping to get my car to an AutoX soon.

Where did you set the Regen? I felt like the first track mode have too much Regen upon lift creating more oversteer, and in one case, snap oversteer.

Do electric car autoxers use the regen braking or just want all the breaking to be just brake feel?
