First thing first as per rule, No Inspector Rank Police offier can deal with Army/IAF/Navy Officer as they are protected under Armed Force Act.
Ever in case of this situation, always an equivalent Rank officer, for Major an SP would talk and get the issue resolve.
Constable and Inspectors have no authority over Defence Officer.
Only can get arrested for major crime like Rape, Murder, etc.
I can only say ki yaha Major sharif tha warna yeh Policewala yaad rkhta kisspe pala pada tha.

Let it be anything.. but may I tell you one thing.. it may be any Indian Army's army officer or any Indian public citizen.. *Indian police don't have the right to take the keys off from our vehicles..* 😡😡
It is there in *Motor Vehicle Act, 1932*
Ya, police officers can fine us as per the rules.. they can take fines from us.. but, they don't have right to take the keys off..
