Very Cold Mornings this Weekend, Dry through Monday: Friday Evening Forecast 12/20/2024

A dry cold front will pass this evening, and behind it, we will see frigid conditions into Saturday morning. With winds continuing out of the northwest at around 10 to 15 mph, it will feel like it is in the 20’s across the area into tomorrow morning. Actual lows will be in the mid- to upper-20’s inland, low-30’s along I-10, and mid- to upper-30’s closer to the coast. Skies will stay clear through tonight and the rest of the weekend. Highs will sit in the 50’s Saturday and Sunday with lows on Sunday morning back in the 20’s and 30’s. To start the week of Christmas, Monday will still be cold in the morning in the 30’s, but we will warm into the 60’s by the afternoon. Moisture and warmth will push back into the area Tuesday ahead of a warm front. Scattered showers will be possible on Christmas Day, and highs will sit at around 70°. The front will stall near the area keeping warm temperatures and clouds for Thursday and Friday with brief showers possible.
