A proper Pro? - Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 and Pro 9i Hands-On Preview

They may look like well-behaved lifestyle notebooks, but Lenovo's Yoga Pro line-up comes with more than just pretty looks. We had the chance for an early hands-on with two of the new models. While the Pro 7 comes with refreshed AMD and Intel CPU options, the all-new 16" Yoga Pro 9i impressed us in particular.
The sleek and very good-looking notebook comes with an Intel 13th-Gen i9-13900H, up to 64 gigs of super-fast memory, a 3.2K 165Hz Mini-LED Display and an RTX 4070.

Things are getting really confusing for me. There is Yoga which is a convertible lineup and then there is other Yoga laptops which are not convertible. Then there is Slim Series. Each of those has pro versions now? Also models are named diferent depending on the region. Anyways, I would like to see Yoga Pro 7 14" vs Yoga Pro 9 14". They seem like identical.

Are the 14" laptop ports of Intel and AMD the same? Last gen AMD variant has one more USB A instead HDMI on Intel variant

It would seem that Lenovo is doing really well with there 2023 offerings. I wonder how the cooling in this laptop would be. The thin profile with a 100W 4070 would make things fairly toasty after long-above-average-gaming -sessions. I was trying to look out for vents but could not see any. I would imagine it blows on the screen like Macbooks.

I am curious to know what the battery life would be on this machine as well and lastly what would you personally pick as a laptop to daily drive and why [Legion or Yoga]? Great stuff from Lenovo.

When they give you a "starting price" and then ship you a top of the line model, you really shouldn't make claims about how competitive their pricing is. You have no idea.

Waiting for the 14inch review to drop. Still deciding between this and zephyrus g14. I hope it has a decent battery life - at least 7-8hrs of office use.
