Postal code data type must be varchar because we can use int or float only for those where we have to perform some arithmetic operations but with postal code we never do any calculation so the data type for postal must be varchar.

But how to save all the operations we performed in the database. i have created a databse, created a table and imported csv file into it. Performed various queries and saved the file. But when I open the SQL file the queries are still there but the data imported into the table is not saved in the database.what to do .How to sav the database in PostgreSQL

Could you help me please? I'm having a problem with importing data from an excel file. I've already set a binary path as you said and I also checked thoroughly the number of columns as well as their names, but error still happened.

I was informed that "ERROR: invalid byte sequence for encoding "UTF8": 0xf6 0xa7 0x39 0x38
CONTEXT: COPY orders, line 1".

Could you tell me what it means and how to solve this?
