This week our conversation is with the Hon. Dr. Mary Grabar. Someone who came to understand the importance of conservatism, but not as political fodder, as a philosophy, a tool to combat the deliberate destruction of our literary heritage and the promise of Life, Liberty, and Justice. She is also the founder of The Dissident Prof Education Project, author of hundreds of published articles and her books Debunking Howard Zinn: Exposing the Fake History That Turned a Generation against America, and Debunking The 1619 Project: Exposing the Plan to Divide America.
Dr. Mary Grabar earned her Ph.D. from the University of Georgia and taught college English for twenty years. Since 2014, she has been a resident fellow at The Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization in Clinton, New York.
Dr. Grabar has published hundreds of articles and two books, Debunking Howard Zinn: Exposing the Fake History That Turned a Generation against America (2019) and Debunking The 1619 Project: Exposing the Plan to Divide America (2021). She founded The Dissident Prof Education Project in 2014, a nonprofit education reform initiative.
She is currently finishing up a biography of George S. Schuyler, who grew up in Syracuse, New York, a project she began in 2011, when she was recipient of the Bakwin Research Fellowship of The Alexander Hamilton Institute.
Mary was born in Slovenia, then part of Communist Yugoslavia, and grew up in Rochester, New York.
