I knew in autum when you said "The basics for a base" and didnt include a lightning rod, that you would get your base destroyed by lighning in spring.

the community doesnt exactly consider Wigfrid a "noob character" (as in normally you will not be judged for playing her), it is more that playing her is very unhealthy long time, as she rewards the habit of tanking things, something that does not really work if you play other characters!

I feel like out of everything seanie did in this 100 days, the most accomplishing thing he did was make the purple carpet and Tuesday getting happy,

A few tips as a "Veteran" player,
- Try to learn enemy's fighting patterns, it will make your capability in a fight to be much better.
- Armor > any other equipment, armor is practically the most important thing in the game, mistakes will happen and having armor on will stop these mistakes from ending your run. (obviously not wearing armor is ok, but always try to have on armor)
- You can survive all of winter with a thermal stone and a torch (when thermal stone gets yellow, light a tree and keep by the tree until the thermal stone is back to max) no need for insulation and will allow you to keep on armor.
-Going away from anything by 2 screens will stop all natural things (lightning strikes/wildfires) from occurring (will not stop them once started)
- Pay attention to character specific crafting/perks, During this entire video I did not see use of wendys or wigfrids songs/abigail abilities. (These are very important and are a major part of the character, these make fights/other things easier and have many applications.)
- Most important of all, don't be afraid to rollback when learning (If you have to spend 30 days doing stuff you already know how to do just to die to deerclops because you don't know how to kill him, no reason not to spend a long time rolling back on deerclops to figure out how to kill him, and then succeeding next time you fight him with no rollback).

For anyone else who doesn't know, The little ghost that Wednesday kept following is named Pipspook and if you play as Wendy and follow him he gives you the flower you need to respawn Abigail

I relate so deeply to Tuesday constantly dying, even while opting out of tasks above her pay grade 😂

If you ever do anymore Dst I have a few useful tips

1. You should build tents which are insanely helpful throughout the whole game which give you health and sanity in exchange for hunger, it's a great deal
2. The ruins always connect to the muddy biome, just like the archives you originally found always connect to the lunar grotto
3. The easiest way to kill Beardger is to run away into a forest, causing him to follow you and knock down tons of trees for logs until the Beardger spawns Treeguards which will aggro on him and completely destroy him
4. You can make booster shots that give you your max hp back caused by telltale hearts
5. Although Wigfrid's battle helms are very good and cheaper than football helmets for easy damage reduction, the eye mask, dropped by the Eye of Terror boss (A crossover with terraria), gives you a helmet just as protective while also being rechargeable with food, including rot

Love your content Seanie Dew, you're definitely one of my favorite youtubers, hope you do more Don't Starve content. Also the desert goggles thing is extremely dumb

I know this is 3 months ago but a few tips I have as a mediocre don't starve player is...
Abigail can kill alot of bees, spiders, frogs, and hounds so use her as your defense.
Wendy can go to graveyards and help pipspooks, using them to get morning stars to make potions and more flowers if she ever loses hers and you can do multiple in one world, I know she did it in the eppisode but to explain a bit more.
The tower that Wendy uses needs flowers and flowers give you sanity so it's 2 birds with one stone, you can also use these flowers to make flower crowns that'll up your sanity as well.
If Abigail lives for 3 days she gains her full health bar.
Wigfrids hammer or weapon isint that valuable but her helmet is she's a great character for brute force just make alot of armor and have food/a hambat on you at all times.
Pre craft items beforehand so you can craft them faster and be able to have more items, not much but more.
You can create syringes to up your health after creating a telltale heart it uses a bee stinger, ash, and I think a spider gland and it'll help alot.
Bee boxes can be stored all year and searched once around winter and It'll give you a bunch of honey and the bees won't come out to attack you.
A flingamging would help greatly for the fires just be careful about what you put in its radius
If you have a bunch of meat that's about to rot feed it to your bird to get a bunch of eggs.
That part where you had to go all the way around the world to meet Wendy could have easily been shortened if you created a raft and put it in the water, you could have jumped across easily.
While killing goose goose have a panflute handy so you can kill each baby one at a time so they don't jump you, 1 panflute spawns per map near the glommer statue found in the autumn biome.
You can also use this strategy with dragonfly and their fire baby's, near her spawn there are always 3 ponds of lava, create walls in between the ponds and place signs in the middle of it all, the baby's will run towards the sign since it's a man-made object and will eventually run into the ponds and die getting rid of her first wave, then she'll get mad (or she gets mad first I don't remember) anyways if you use the pan flute it cancles it all together and you can beat her easier.
You don't have to restart!! You may be doing it for integrity wise but if you didn't know you can recall the map and it'll restart to your last save so you can save your run:)
Lighting will follow you so if you dont have a lighting rod up yet just don't go to your home and it won't get struck.
Some of the best groups to use with duos are
Wendy and wortox as she can kill a bunch of enemies and he uses their souls
Wickerbottom and wigfrid
Woodie
And woodie and wortox
Woodie is very underrated I love his axe and his ability If you line up a bunch of trees and let them grow you can let him tear them down or you can make beaver do it when he spawns and does his dash itll get you a bunch of wood without wasting a bunch of time I make a lime of like 60 trees and make him run through them until they all fall down and then start the fight, to make him go to that area or spawn there put a sign by it and hide out there around the time he spawns and he'll run over there.

I should add that I find these don’t starve videos really entertaining and would love to watch more. This is a game where “getting good” feels soooo good. Perfectly kiting bosses and getting a good rhythm is a good feeling that not many survival games get right
