Last week on the History Channel's "The Proof is Out There", they went back to the Patterson film, fully enhanced, and used many techniques used by you, ThinkerThunker. Their conclusions were that Patty was probably a real bigfoot. That's a huge step for mainstream infotainment. You are making a difference!
As for this video, it seems authentic, but that's more of a guess mixed with wishful thinking. I'll wait until you do more of your magic on it before forming an opinion.

First thing I noticed even before the analisys: whoever this is, it seems to cover a significant distance that a normal person could only do running. BUT, this guy appears to be walking very carefully were it steps, except fast enough to evade the camera and in uneven terrain, in the middle of darkness, with trees in front of him. That's all VERY odd.

As a Land Surveyor who's spent alot of time In the bush,
While walking thru byers and underbrush, my trailling shin rise is at least 90° while my forward leg thrusts up to get over and break thru the debris.
I had noticed this after watching one of your videos way back.
It makes sense of why they normally would walk that way.

That is the same location, the camera has been moved slightly on the tree so you can’t overlay the two frames, and obviously during the day you can see a lot more foliage around the main trees and then the forest giant is blocking some of it as well, Look at the details in the curves of the trees between the day and the evening photos they are the same photo

This evidence is aggravating b/c the camera owner knows where this was taken and could easily set the camera back in place and do a daytime shot with a human and a tape measure for accurate scale.
This figure appears massive! Unless Shaq is roaming these woods at night, something uncataloged is hiding from the masses.

I think your measurements are actually under cutting its size. I'm going to go out on a limb and say this forest giant is more like 11 to 12 ft tall. No I can't prove it either, but by the looks of that deer which I think is fully grown that fella is a true giant. At least by human standards. Great job as always. You are the very best on this subject.

A quick note on trail cams. We have one, a Browning BTC-6?DX. You can set it for 60 feet or 80 feet. If it's set at 60, it doesn't pick up beyond that at night. In the day time it doesn't matter. It would be another way to measure if the field of vision, or what ever that's called, were known. By looking at this vid, I'm thinking it's probably set at 60. Would knowing that for sure help your calculations in any way as to the size?
