i dont know about you people but is clearly that the 3080 is the winner in price to performance at least the 3090 can brag about those 12gb extra ram, but the 3080ti only has 2gb more. also that 3080ti there is OC while the others aint
in my opinion the 3080ti should have an MSRP of $1000 and not $1200

Great video Daniel. To help clear up any confusion with Nvidia GPU names, I will explain the last two generations. The "Ti" models are all higher tier cards that failed quality control (QC). The 3080 Ti is a 3090 that failed QC. a 3070Ti is a 3080 that failed QC. 3060Ti is a 3070 that failed QC. The 20x0 series were "Super" instead of Ti to change it up every other generation. The 2060S is a 2070 that failed QC, the 2070S is a 2080 that failed QC and the 2080S is a 2080Ti that failed QC. Nvidida even makes money on there garbage chips. That is why the Super and Ti cards always release later in the launches and are limited in inventory.

The same evga version of the 3080ti as my 3080 is $100 less than DOUBLE what I paid and this is at retailers. Instead of being sad like I expected I couldn’t be any happier 😂 thanks for the pick me up

Im super happy for this launch. It gives me the chance of getting a 3090 with half the vram for 1200$. Much better than 3000$+ on ebay. I also think there is more stock since its very expensive compared to 3080, 3070, 3060 msrp, i see alot of people that have already acquired a 30 series card, mining is going down, more people have work now and things to do etc. Im just trying to stay positive in this situation of ours :)

Hey so I was wanting your advice please I just subbed btw :)
I am about to pull the trigger on my build but I cant decide what GPU to go with,
I play mainly fps like warzone and battlefield and am going the a AMD 5800x CPU
And either want a 3080 GPU or 6800 XT, reviews both come out fairly similar but should I go with the AMD since I got the AMD cpu?
I will be playing 1440p 144hz for reference.

If I can actually get the 3080 Ti for 1200 I'm willing to pay that at this point. But I heard the FE won't even be available in my country and board partner cards will be much more expensive :(

Also, still don’t see the point of RTX or DLSS, RTX seems to be a more processing-intensive means to the same end with results that I can’t see at all and DLSS seems to be just another word for sub-100% resolution scale.

Every time I see a 10% difference in a gpu sku I think ok just turn down shadows to medium/low then same gpu lol 😂

4:35 apparently they are testing port royal in ray tracing; top is normal, and bottom is overclocked. Goes for all of the tests.

for the rdr2, the top is the lowest, middle is the highest and bottom is actually the average
For shadow of the tomb raider, he just put in the avg frame in the big text in the middle.
I have no idea of what the hell is he putting on the very top of each test, these tests are fairly disorganized compared to what we do in the NA, for some benchmarks he gives us more values than the others(no idea why...), will probably have to find the video myself to on bilibili to figure it out if it's not down yet, but I refuse to consume any Chinese media.
