I have always had issues with artifacting when connecting wirelessly to my PC to play half life alyx. With my Quest 3 a week or so away I'm going to try this. My PC doesn't have a wireless card so if I then connect my main router to this secondary router will I get internet on my PC still?

I have my pc connected to the wifi and the router is plugged in my pc. Can you please explain how to get the router to stream games to my headset without it being connected to the internet?

Check out the TP Link Deco x20 mesh system. Absolutely perfect for wireless VR, and you don't have to deal with (albeit only slightly) complicated wireless networking switching and whatnot.

Just bought one. Doesn't have gigabit ports and virtual desktop is limited to 60mb.

Another way to do it without a router, if you have a wifi card in your pc/laptop you can do a mobile hotspot within windows for very little latency and no extra router required!
