Good morning, as others have stated, I needed this. As a pastor of nearly six years, I have become discouraged; but this message has given me a bit of encouragement. I realize that I will not be liked by everyone, so I need to stop trying to be liked and focus on teaching, preaching, and leading the flock. By the way, my wife of 35 years was sitting here listening. Thank you again.

Absolutely beautiful. As one hoping to enter pastoral office one day, a newlywed, a local missionary for children, and as a guy who just happens to be named Matthew, this message was beautiful and encouraging. I could have sworn that he was describing my wife even though he was describing another man's wife. Thank you Lord for this message.
