The Kamado Joe Joetisserie Chicken is what's for dinner. Does it make better chicken using a rotisserie? Let's put it to the test.

Kamado Joe JOETISSERIE cooks awesome chicken on the classic 2. We brought the temp up to 400 degrees and cooked for over 60 minutes. So tender and juicy!

A lot of burnt skin. Would you recommend a lower temperature?

Not sure if butter injection helped here? Chicken already has a fair amount of fat, could have led to the skin burning, Also, does that rub have a lot of sugar?
Giving mine a try this weekend.

I just purchased a no brand rotisserie for my Kamado BKK and will be giving it a nudge tonight. Good on you for posting the result even though it wasn’t perfect. It can be more helpful than the “glazed over” perfect cooks lacking in content. I will be shooting for 350F and keeping my coals low on the base of the bowl to avoid flare ups burning the skin.

Seems to me that I get the same result doing beer can chicken at 375 degrees for about 1.5 hours. Never had "black skin" and always juicy.
