Evolution of Phones | 1876 - 2020

An educational history of the most iconic and important phones over the the existence of humanity. Starting with the origin of phones with the 1876 Liquid Transmitter we walk through through the evolution of phones in an easy to understand method by showing each major progression, whilst also seeing slight adaptions throughout.

The images were heavily edited by me in Photoshop CS6 then gave the images a touch in Premiere Pro and Sony Vegas to give a new expression and feeling to this video. All you see in this video is the result of my hard work!

In watching another video on the changing of the telephones it’s quite interesting & an education in itself. I remember when phones were on the desktop or the wall of your home. You had to be there to take the call, or someone else would take a message for you to call the person back. The changes are incredible & pretty much unbelievable too! The changes are just unbelievable to say the least. I still find the landline 📞the best way to connect in a sense. Sometimes it’s hard esp, nowadays when you’re trying to connect with someone & you can’t really be by a landline just to wait for the call which may or may not come. It’s frustrating!
