League of Legends 68 - How to play Karthus (Guide)

Another Karthus game, with some advice on out-farming your opponent.
Masteries were 9/0/21 caster build.
Runes were Magic Pen reds, Mana Regen yellows, Magic Resist blues, Health quints.

Hey bro, im an Euw player and wanted to reply to your comment.

With karthus, the objective is to use Q to last hit away from the enemy, and if ever you get zoned to your tower, call for a gank, or press W to bind him close to you, E and then charge in, and hope to god you took Flash and Exhaust.

Point is, you punish them for mistakes. If they think they can be clever, make sure they know their place. Part of your farm comes from assists and kills from your ultimate,

Sullla, I tune in everytime you have a new video out, they're always awesome. I am thrilled to see you go a very similar build to mine (although before building hourglass I get an Evil Tome for more Wall of Pain and Ulting goodness).

Would not be shocked if your "competitive - nonpractice" matches you've been requested end up being pure domination as most of the games I watch are filled with people running around with no clue.

Just out of curiosity, do you run with mana regen runes?

Good game !
In general I personally don't mind a one-sided game, if it is because your team plays well or the opposing team makes instructive mistakes.
But if oppopnents don't buy boots, send 2 people top, have totally crappy builds, etc I feel I can play SoloQ myself instead of watching that.

when in a team fight is it better to use defile and charge in the middle of their team and use requiem after u die, or stay in the back and use requiem?

His passive is a mana regain for everything you kill. If you can last hit then you'll never have a shortage of mana :)

@JLDubbZ In my mind the problem might be that if somebody happens to force an early teamfight over, say, dragon or apply serious pressure to your lane and all you have is your starting boots, for example, then you might be in a pickle.

i like how people hate on karthus R :) press R u have to time it and think if is going kill them don't use waste it, also if u use R in team fight if u die it stops the ult so be better use ult after your dead :)

Is it not a good idea to buy crystal scepter? If u trap them in defile, they'll get slowed and you can kill them more easilly

lay waste deals damage exactly on where is your cursors location and on 7:05 i see clearly you are not using your cursor to use lay waste, how are you doing that? please reply

What runes do you use? you only have 1 ap, and that's from the masteries i guess.

How would u play karthus againts a Talon mid? Or should i not even try it and switch lanes?

I had weird connection issues, even though everything - Teamspeak and Google in the background included - worked fine, it's just that my champion kept getting stuck, then I suddenly get messages that we keep acing the enemies. I kept doing weird things in the second half on the match - I couldn't do anything safely except farming minions. ._.

I think I had a better Shaco game with no dcs earlier that day, but that other one was a complete roflstomp, so yeah... Good video on the subject
