How to Freeze Bread

Bread freezes so well! It stays perfectly fresh and is so convenient.
Not only does this reduce food waste, but it’s so wonderful having bread on hand at all times.
You can freeze an entire loaf, half a loaf or freeze sliced bread.
This was especially useful when it was just my husband and I. It’s so nice to be able to take out as many slices as you need. Just pop it in the toaster right out of the freezer.

Great tip, I need to remember this. I live alone and struggle to finish a whole loaf of bread. I tend to opt for the cheaper ones because I feel like throwing out half a loaf was a total waste of money.

If I freeze bread, I can go for nicer ones and store them in the freezer instead. Will probably slice them before I put them in the freezer so I can just pop one slice in the toaster whenever I feel like.

I need to make a habit of this! I throw out at least a couple of slices of my homemade whole wheat bread each week. 😮

I've done this with bagels but when I went to use them the outer crust was flaking off lol

Every time we get bread it’s getting stale very fast! Wish somebody reminded me to put in a freezer! lol
