Baby Takes a Peek

I've been following a red-headed woodpecker nest for the last 6 to 8 weeks. Today, a chick decided to take a look at the world through the hole in the tree. I was able to capture some footage from the roof of my home, using a 600 mm lens and 2x teleconverter. It isn't easy getting a look in that dark hole. Baby should be fledging soon.
