How to import data into Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS)?

Using Xillio’s Hadoop import connector, data will be imported from our Unified Data Model into HDFS Hadoop, big data file system, in a uniform manner and without loss of quality.

The basis of our Hadoop import connector is the unified data model (UDM), in which we store data in between extraction and import. In the UDM the data of the extracted documents are transformed (cleaned, enriched, classification, metadata) and converted in Hadoop’s data model.

Finally, the data is imported into HDFS Hadoop.
