Out of the two the 8a is the much better deal. Me personally, I prefer the plastic matte back, flat camera bar and that sharp aloe color. Idk why people whine and complain SO much about bezels. I’m more concerned with good performance, battery life and having a bug free experience but silly me 😂. Especially if you catch the 8a on sale, it’s kind of a no brainer to go with the 8a over the 8.

If I trade in my 2 year old pixel 7 i can get the 8a with a case for £200. Does that sound a good deal?

On the google fi store they are offering the pixel 8a for $199 as an upgrade option. Is that worth the money compared to other phones on the market?

The A series offers a lot for the money, especially the cameras and video recording (4k 60). I would take one of these over the Samsung A's.

The problem is that Pixel 8 are not on their msrp anymore you can easily find one for 50 more than 8A and at the point why not pay for the better phone?

7:24 "I did find the video to look a tiny bit better on the pixel 8, because it does have electric image stabilization along with OIS, where as the pixel 8 only has OIS." What did you mean to say? Does the pixel 8 or the 8a have electric stabilization?

Respect for your intro pointing out sales price and how 8a will eventually go on sale.

I got the 256gb P8 for around $250 USD after trading in my 6a, a complete steal for that price. Reminds me of the Nexus days with that value. Don't forget the much faster charging on the 8, coming from the 6a the 27w vs the 18w is a very nice upgrade.

Hey nice job on the comparison and I think yeah you're right I would just wait for sale that pixel 8A will be down to 399 or even 375 after a few months

Which one do you suggest between pixel 8 & S23?

Pixel 8a was 450usd for me after Trade-in. But When i saw OnePlus 12 was 450usd with trade-in with my 8T, i cancelled pixel 8a's order and bought OnePlus 12 for 450usd! I really struggled with 6a for 2 months, there was a one time where mobile data wouldn't turn on for 20 mins and i couldn't book a uber for 30 mins hahaha

In Australia the Msrp for the Pixel 8a is $849aud, but with google offering $300aud trade in bonus and $200aud bonus in gift cards, So the phone technically costs $350aud which around $230USD. Nothing can beat that value I bought one just to try the new Google AI features.

I Enjoy both sides. I Purchased the 8a and im enjoying it got it for $400 with a $100 Giftcard. I wanted a unlocked phone that works with all carrier's and it does that. So im pretty happy so far and the fingerprint and other things that were fails for me on the other A series. They fixed and i enjoy the improvements google is steady making.

Uhm actually I ordered a pixel 8 for my mother in law to replace her Poco f4 Gt that went dead. It had like a sales price running as low as 410euro for a 128gb pink one.. made the most sense getting a regular pixel

I've had the 6 pro and the 7 pro, I bought the 8 A and I don't miss a thing. I had so many issues with the 6 and 7 and didn't want to go through it again with the 8 pro. Also it's half the price of the 8 pro.

I think you should include some other tech features into the review like the wireless charging, fast charging, etc. The review is very camera feature heavy which I understand is important to many consumers but so is charging and battery life.
