I agree with you but I also feel for many ppl the pink pilates princess aesthetic is nice because it emphasizes strength (working out in general and also pilates is difficult af) mixed with hyper femininity and self care (pink princess). I personally find the aesthetic very aspiring, but I don’t think you need expensive skincare products etc for self care and I don’t think you need to buy name brand clothes to have a pink colour aesthetic

I haven’t spent thousands of dollars and I still look the part. I am just smart about which items I buy. For example $120 leggings are completely unnecessary so I go for something good quality but cheaper. To me the most important part is the mindset around well-being, self care, and fitness.

I’m in a small community at my school because at the beginning of year 7 I didn’t fit in. I stayed there for a while and then moved to my current community, where me and my friends
Just chill at breaks and lunch and I feel like I belong now :)

I'm not rly into a ton of niche communities but I am an emo cosplayer and everyone just goes "oh cosplay is cringe" when really it takes the cosplayer so much time and effort and passion to go into everything they make... And a lot of money. That's the thing, I bought a wig thats rly short for my cosplay and it was 30 dollars and that's actually pretty cheap for a good wig. The colored contacts were 26, the piping I needed was 16 bucks per 50 feet and I needed 3 packs, the makeup was abt 34 dollars and that's only including the stuff I bought that was new (face paint, orange cream eyeshadow, white eyeliner, and blurring primer) for another cosplay I made it cost me abt 150 and it was a simple one too. For the emo thing it's not that pricey bc it's just the makeup, hair dye, music, and clothes and I actually thrifted and made a bunch of my own stuff
