Got the 4G version as soon as i realized the 5G doesnt have the 3.5 jack. I don't think those dongles can replace the real connector any time soon.

Does the mate 20 x /5g has the same auto dimming display problem as the mate 20 pro and like some other huawei devices? The mate 20 x 5g only has 1 speaker no dolby atmos?

The only issue I have with the Mate 20 X is that when I play/watch a video in landscape, it automatically adds a vivid-like effect to the screen. Is this normal... or is there a way to disable it? Thanks.

I have the 4g version now, largely due to your excellent review. It's a great phone! I'm not likely to get 5g any time soon and the 5g version takes away some of my essentials like the stereo speakers/ 3.5mm jack and 5mAh battery, so I won't be trading it in. How does the 4mAh battery cope with the demands of that big screen ?

I just got this 5G in color blue. I believe 5G in blue is only available in Chinese version. I prefer the Chinese version because it lets you record phone calls. Good phone. 5G works fine in Inglewood/ Los Angeles California.

I'm eyeballing the 5G version myself. Headphone jack doesn't matter much to me, nor does speakers. It'd be nice to have the larger 5000 mah battery, but I'd trade all that in for 5g speed. That dual Sim on both versions is nice. Love to see how I can incorporate that into the fold.
