Apple just released the first Developer Beta of watchOS 11 and while it's not as big of an update as watchOS 10 was, it is still a worthy update with more than 40 new features & changes (so far). So in this video, we cover all of the main new features and changes in watchOS 11 Beta 1, including the new Vitals app, Training Load, several updates to the Fitness app on both watchOS 11 and iOS 18, Live Activities, the new Photos watch face, and more. watchOS 11 requires the Apple Watch Series 6 and newer. Apple Watch Series 4, Series 5, and SE will not be eligible to install the update.

One of the first updates I noticed was the Double Tap improvement. It’s more useful, faster, and it doesn’t show you that annoying double tap icon anymore!

going out of the sleep mode by holding for 5 seconds was the one thing that bothered me a lot! i had even submitted it as a feedback to them, that just in case one needs to track heart rate or ECG quickly in the night, it's too long a wait. Thankfully they've changed that!

I‘m so glad they added new ringtones 🎉 I might be one of the two people who uses sounds on all of his devices but yay, now I got options! Would have been nice to hear all the ringtones and notification sounds from watchOS in the video :D But maybe that would‘ve been boring for most viewers :D
