Nice to see the establishment vowing to stick to the constitution and Supreme Court precedent!

Fentanyl = WMD. CCPs gift that keeps on giving. Drug cartels, CCP spy balloons, or domestic coup plotters are unconfined with such mundane contrivances as “self restraint“.

United States citizens comprised 86% of fentanyl trafficking convictions in 2021. 1, 322 of the 1, 533 charged fentanyl trafficking offenders. This means this is not a southern border issue or open border issue which eludes to illegal immigrants. US citizens are the main transporters. This means the port of entry is anywhere. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Interesting that Marjorie Taylor Greene is so concerned with the 300 fentanyl-related deaths per day when she was completely untroubled when 3, 000 Americans per day were dying because of Covid during the height of the pandemic. At the time she gave priority to "protecting freedom" over the enforcement of public health measures.

The only people who’d be against this are the ones profiting from the drug trade

Simple. Don't base the sentence on where it came in, base it on amount, same as heroin. Small amount, personal use? Jail time. Large amounts (indicating trafficking)? Death penalty.

The imported fentanyl is a death sentence for those who handle it - police officers making a drug bust as well as the consumers. The death penalty is nothing more than a calculated risk for the importer who is well aware of the danger. Once the drug is on the street there is no way to trace it back to the original importer or manufacturer so I agree, the death penalty should be a consequence to the importer who is well aware of the danger - attempted murder charges at the very least. There are many countries that impose the death sentence for mere possession of less fatal drugs.

The fentanyl you found does not account for the fentanyl you did NOT find. Thats not 90% if you know youre missing huge blind spots at the border.

Too bad the FBI doesn't have a death-squad to take care of the ones that fall through the cracks. Nobody will miss them if they DO get taken out except their suppliers.

The ladies absolutely right it should be a automatic death penalty for illegal fentanyl coming across the United States border at any point.
