The fischer Group of Companies and their fixing systems are world-famous. From a Swabian workshop to an internationally operating medium-sized company - the development of the fischer group of companies since its founding in 1948 can be summed up in this common denominator. The family-owned company has always been aware of its roots: its headquarters are still located in Waldachtal- Tumlingen in the northern Black Forest, about 60 kilometers southwest of Stuttgart.

Characteristic of the company is its innovative strength, which has repeatedly led to opening up not only new products but also new business areas. Today, it is the business units fischer fixing systems, fischertechnik, fischer Consulting and fischer Electronic Solutions.

The group comprises 52 national companies. Production sites are in Argentina, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Vietnam. In 2023, more than 4,700 employees generated consolidated sales of 1.16 billion euro worldwide.

The division, fischer Consulting, grew out of the competencies developed in-house. The fischer ProzessSystem (fPS) strives for permanent improvement. The company should be flexible, lean and always orientated towards customer value.

The largest division is the fixing systems division with over 14,000 items. The company's strengths continue to include technological market leadership in important fields of fixing technology. This continues what founder of the company Artur Fischer began with his legendary invention, the nylon plug, more than 50 years ago: a disproportionately high number of patents is characteristic of the company to this day. The strength of this division lies in being able to offer the right product in technical perfection to a wide range of customers, from do-it-yourselfers and craftsmen to key account partners.
