Always love an outdoor game.
And the first ever Winter Classic shutout goes to the Seattle Kraken! (Joey Daccord)

Great job to everyone involved on this years Winter Classic. Uniforms, setting, Buoy going crazy, Gretzky, and good hockey (first shutout!) made it fun to watch.

Knights fan here, I come in peace lol. Happy new year everyone.

Congrats to the Kraken. Daccord was a frikkin brick wall, frustrating. It seemed like the Kraken had 2 extra players out there all game, which I say bc it felt like they were faster and hustled more. Not an excuse but VGK as a whole looked sluggish, a credit to Seattle's effort. The Knights are in that "dog days of summer" stretch and hopefully can get hot again at the right time.

- Nice goals from Eeli Tolvanen, Will Borgen, and Yanni Gourde
- Joey Daccord becoming the first goaltender to record a shutout in the Winter Classic
- Win streak of 5

Let's go Kraken! I hope you good people (namely the Kraken fans) got your money's worth in T-Mobile Park. It must have been an unforgettable experience for you all.

Happy 2024 everyone!

What an awesome redirection on the first goal. They're flying out on that ice! Great job for the Kraken 💪

Well played Kraken. Pietrangelo again with a dirty slash in the final minutes when his team is losing. Definitely needs to work on that

Both teams had great jerseys for this one. I hope they wear them again, especially Vegas, that design is sick!

I actually really like these Kraken uniforms. They should use these as their permanent home uniform and do a solid cream version for the road.

Thompson's gear is dope. Daccord is a future star goalie, I've been saying that since he played with the Sens. Good game by the Kraken. 🏒🥅

Why are the 2nd and 3rd Periods together less than 40% of the highlights?

Vegas has been falling off the last few games…. And Seattle is now on a 9 game Point Streak!

Great pass to Eichel. Sacic-like wrist shot. Phenomenal save by Joey.

Watched the whole game. Seattle played phenomenally and Vegas just didn’t keep up. It almost looked like a double fluke, Seattle fluked into a cup winning team and Vegas a fluke flounder.

It's just good to see two recent expansion teams do well. Of course, VGK are the Champs from last season, and the kraken continue to impress (they are averaging just slightly north of 100% attendance this year). Here's to hoping that in 2024, some of the teams that have been struggling lately will find a way to right the ship. Close hockey games are GOOD hockey games.
