We flew to Malta a few years back and I was always interested in the ancient history of this island state. We were only there for a week and my lady at the time was mostly interested in shopping in Valetta. We did however make a trip to Mdina and to Gozo where I felt something ancient...a weird energy that spoke not so much in words.... We took a tour of some tunnels that served as a WW 2 sub base, but I knew that there was so much more there. You could see that these tunnels were much older and expansive then that the historians told us....I want to go back and explore!
