Thanks for all these videos! I learn a lot from them as a UDM pro owner.

Can you please clarify why you're setting up static IPs for the 2nd connection rather than DHCP also?

Love to see Unifi fix the issue with site to site working when in failover.

Nice. I always wondered how the failover was and how fast it was. Thanks!

Excellent info. I’ll be interested to see one done using Skylink as a failover/load balancing.

Hi. Great video. Is there an option to have two udm se appliances to ensure that if one fails the other one takes over (even if we have to swap wan cables) ?

Possible to make the SFP+ your primary ISP and the WAN 1 Copper your secondary as the failover?

Love this, question though... If I have static IP on both services and my DNS info is all pointing to the primary IP service, if my internet goes down how do I setup the UDMP/SE so the backup ISPs IP is still picking up the traffic pointing to the main ISP IP so my websites etc all still remain accessible during a failover event?

In a dual-wan failover situation. Why can't we use the same DDNS service for both WAN ports?

Does the U-LTE take over when both WAN ports fail, even though they are in failover mode ?

How do you configure which one is primary and which one is for failover?

Would this work with the broadman modem configured in BRIDGED mode?

Good video, thank you. Load balancing is difficult to implement esp. financial sites dont like when you suddenly access them from a different IP than a few seconds before, so it's understandable not to see this in 'prosumer' equipment, same for HA (high availability)

MY ISP provides me with 5 gig internet connection. Could you please advise as to how I can use the 10G WAN port to get the full 5 gig speeds. When I connect to the WAN2 port the UDM SE Pro does not recognize the internet. Only the 2.5G port seems to be working. Any help on this would be really appreciated.

So it's failover only, I have a few projects that have a very slow dsl in, then I add a 3G dish on Wan 2. The dsl is used for the VPN requirements and the 3G to boost the speed. For this I have to use Dratek routers which load balance and route static for VPN. I would love one day to swap these to a UDM.

hello i just install my new udm pro se and after connecting both my isps i see my second isp is not getting an IP address
both my isp are up and running
load balancing doesn't work and fail over only works when 1 isp is completely disconnected and the second wan gets the ip of the 1st wan
so when my primary isp is back up and running the udm doesn't switch back to primary isp untill the 2nd wan is diconected
can you help
Y is it doing that??

I'm not sure if this will get seen or not but I am noticing that you are using private IP addresses for your WAN. Is this just for testing/examples? If I were to set up a second modem for example, I would have a second public IP assigned to my second WAN connection and I wouldn't be able to set it manually as you have done here. I was just hoping for some clarification on this.
