Oh dude my beloved metalwork colossus deck, I've picked so many incredible wins with it at FNM, thanks for showing that in the show.
I decided to put some spice and run a 4c version, with Meria and Sarinth Steelseeker, works really well.

Love your budget decks, Seth! Just wanted to add for those not in the know:
The card rental programs you're talking about are Cardhoarder and Manatraders, as far as I know. If there are more, let me know!

The other good thing about Shadow of Mortality in Calibrated Blast is that it's a card you could, in theory, cast at some point in the game. It can be nice to get a little extra damage in at the end or be a blocker to stall for time, especially if your opponent has gotten your life total fairly low and you can cast it for cheap.

Loved Bringing back Mono Green Stompy. I'm actually currently building the deck. Not sure if I'll ever go back to a modern league, but having a deck that is kinda good no matter what without being super expensive is nice

I’m loving my light-paws pioneer! I run it more abzan to have hateful idoleon to draw cards and rune of might to make sure light-paws can punch through

I really like light paws mono white. Although splashing in some green for boggles might be the way to go? Or maybe add some 1 drop creature cards like esper sentinel or hoplite. It’s unfortunate mono white doesn’t have much removal or counters

The Abzan reanimate deck for modern keeps me in the top 10 at fnm.

I literally stopped playing my Mono Green Tron deck for 12-Shadow at my local shop. The deck is amazing and I make people super concerned when it does it's thing.
