I love recommendations like these, I don't know much of Schumann, so it's kind of beautiful and frustrating when you learn oh this composer is lovely, why don't you listen to more of his stuff?

The emotional playing looks like Daniil Trifonov's "madness"))) Who's played that, actually?

As much as I dislike Lang Lang, I have to admit, this recording is really quite solid. He does have great dynamic control, and when you don't have to endure his horrendous demeanour, it's really not that terrible. Nonetheless, to my ears it isn't particularly innovative or deep. But neither is the piece, so... Just a technically perfect and good performance, I guess. I just don't ever get the feeling with him, that he likes the music, and wants to communicate anything other than technical prowess and his ludicrous presence.

Much too fast. Pianist lost the romantic element. This a Schumann and not czerny studies to play as quickly as possible. The music quality was lost

I hate lang lang. In the theme he rolls almost all the octaves which is completely unnecessary, there is exaggerated rubato that makes me seasick and the phrasing is horrid. How did Lang Lang get famous?

Phrasing? No, I didn't.
Terrible.
