The ALL NEW 2024 Toyota Tacoma! Redesigned And Coming Soon!!
There is an all-new Toyota Tacoma rumored to be coming in 2024, which is very big news, especially when there are rumors about its amazing new styling, Tundra-inspired interiors, and also possibly a new hybrid engine. Want to find out more? Then keep watching this video…
After the recent debut of the new 2023 Toyota Tundra and 2023 Sequoia, the next big launch from Toyota will likely be the next generation of the Toyota Tacoma mid-size pickup truck. Just like these two trucks, the all new 2024 Toyota Tacoma is said to be expected to go under major transformation compared to its current model. Not only will the new Tacoma have a brand-new chassis, but it will get a complete overhaul in terms of its cabin layout, exterior design, latest technology, features, as well as a new and advanced powertrain line-up.
Car experts have predicted that the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma will enter a new generation for its 2024 model year. Car experts also only know a few things for sure, such as the fact it'll ride on the Japanese automaker's new TNGA-F architecture, a body-on-frame platform that underpins the new Tundra and forthcoming Toyota Sequoia as well as the 4Runner.
Experts also have an artist's illustration which suggests what the new model of the Tacoma TRD Pro could look like. And if the Tundra's new design is any indication, then its twin car will most likely have a similarly familiar grille, lighting elements, and even distinctive fender bulges. But no one knows for sure, so we'll just have to wait and see what the automaker reveals to us soon.
This Instagram post from Toyota's official was no doubt the most long-awaited teaser of the 2024 Toyota Tacoma exterior design. But while there is a lot more to decipher from this mysterious silhouette, we think that the all new 2024 Toyota Tacoma will probably sport the same design body and language just like its bigger brother - the redesigned Toyota Tundra is confirmed.
We think this mainly because of the shadow formation which gives us a shape of a much boxier design than the 3rd-generation Toyota Tacoma. Also, this strengthens the cause to trust in the Brazilian design patent leaks of the new Toyota Tacoma. But it is just a matter of weeks before we get to know more deets about the all-new, redesigned 2024 Toyota Tacoma.
Now let's talk about what the exterior could be like...
The exteriors for the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma redesign will probably be highly influenced by the design language we have gotten to see on the latest generation of the Sequoia and the Tundra. Toyota’s patent leaks have hinted at a model that will look similar to an electric version of the truck that Toyota showed off in its previous 2021 model, which includes a blacked-out grille.
This basically means that the new generation of mid-size pickup will come with bulkier features and have several elements which have a similar layout as that of its elder siblings. Also, it will use the same TNGA-F architecture, essentially a body-on-frame platform which kind of underpins the new Sequoia, Tundra, and the highly anticipated 2024 Toyota 4Runner.
Now even with all the positives of the current generation 2023 Toyota Tacoma, one aspect it has been continuously criticized for is its uncomfortable cabin experience, mainly in the second row of the crew cab version. But still, with the new 2024 Tacoma, we expect Toyota to improve this department considerably.
As of now, what gives us hope is the interior of the new Tacoma, spotted in spy photos noted by many car enthusiasts. While the teaser image has been heavily camouflaged, the cabin will be very similar to the plush, modern design of the new Tundra. So as a result, we can expect the cabin of the new Tacoma to probably also come with better quality materials and offer a comfortable driving experience across all its configurations.
The rumored new 2024 Toyota Tacoma will probably get a new powertrain. While it's currently the only mid-size truck available with a manual transmission, we'd like it to stay that way, its 6-speed automatic transmission is clumsy and obsolete compared with competitors such as the GMC Canyon and Nissan Frontier.
The outgoing Toyota Tacoma offers an anemic four-cylinder base engine and an optional V-6 less powerful than every other V-6-powered competitor, including the often-derided Honda Ridgeline.
