For lifting the bike, you could hang a come-along (or electric winch) from the ceiling or simply get a portable engine crane.

In Idaho a restricted vehicle plate is really cheap, and you can swap it onto whatever you are riding. They are registered to you not a machine. And you can ride it legally everywhere but highways. Definitely worth the 30 dollars if you plan on riding on the streets

18:08 Edwin, go to Harbor Freight and buy a set of every mechanic tool that you don't already have, including impact rated sockets, spark plug sockets, in-lb and ft-lb torque wrenches, ratcheting wrench set, etc. Having the right tools on hand when you need them saves so much time and frustration. Your future self will thank you!

To save money, I got by with a single, cheap, "all-in-one" tool set for years until one day I began to strip the oil drain bolt on my bike after an hour or so of trying to get it off with an adjustable cresent since i didnt have a big enough wrench. I went and bought a wrench set that included the proper size and the bolt came right out (That bolt is now sitting on my desk as a display piece lol). But ever since then, i never shy away from buying a tool. And harbor freight has a lifetime warranty on most if not all of their hand tools, pretty sure you don't even need a reciept

the '' idle screw '' is an air/mixture screw, not an idle screw, assuming we're looking at the side of the carburetor, the horizontal screw, it can only be adjusted when the engine is hot

carb, pipe, cam, spark plug, new Cdi & opening up the airflow which really opens these up!

Hey Edwin, you should get the Lifan KP Mini RS EFI. It's a bit pricier, ~2500, but it's a legitimate Grom contender. I'm actually super interested in one. There are a few reviews floating around but I think you're in a great position in terms of viewer trust and experience (especially with the other Chinese bikes!) to give an unbiased review. Thanks for spending your money on all of these, I love the segment and love seeing the differences in each bike you review.

Make a cheap gantry crane, mount a atv winch to the ceiling, or use a engine hoist to lift the bikes out.

Use a couple hooks in the ceiling and hang a strap with a ratchet. They you can hang the bike and lift it easily. Use a cable comealong for heavy stuff. Just use good hooks into a solid beam, not into drywall. I have used a cable strung from a tree for decades as a bike stand for my motorized bicycles.

You should get some GripLockTies for the handlebars and other projects. The reusable zip ties are awesome... probably one of the best online purchases I've made (thanks to Cleetus and the Freedom Factory Team).

You gotta start breaking these things in before really asking them for a true performance.

Ride it around your neighborhood or a parking lot taking it easy, lots of clutch engagements, heavy and light loads, decel/engine braking too.

You need to seat the rings and bed in the clutches, etc. Before itll perform as good as its going to get.

It looks like it runs pretty good! From the 3rd person video, it sounds like it is running a little rich. A little more carburetor tuning and you'd probably still see a decent boost in power.

Cheap bike lift:

2 x A frames made from 3"x2"
Attach to wall.

Then 2x 4"x2" bolted together, install between the 2x A frames on the walls. (Looks like a 3 meter span)
If its longer than that just size a beam or multiple "sistered beams" accordingly.

Then install an electric 12v winch.

Electric bike hoist. Done. And "CHEAP" and "FAST"

Also, can you throw some sheets up in the garage roof. The reverb on your voice is killing me 😆

Ceiling mounted hoist/winch. I used to store 2 ATVs in my garage by hanging one above the other using an electric hoist. Not very expensive at all, and works perfectly!
