Even tho he didnt meet Glenn doesn't mean he didnt care about him. In the scene in season 11 when Negan tells Hershal Jr that he killed Glenn and Hershal Jr cared. So even tho he never met Glenn he still cared.

People not watching the show anymore just because Glenn died was silly. It just goes to show that people don't care about story or plot development they literally just watch shows and movies for a character they like


Glenn dying was actually a great move in terms of writing because it introduced serious Stakes for the Savior and all-out War arc.

Now Seasons 7 and 8 we're not very good but not because Glenn died but just simply because the writing fell off after that..
