Terraria Guide: How to beat the Moon Lord (Terraria 1.4.4.9)

In this video i'll be going into detail on how to beat the Moon Lord with a very easy strategy. All the items needed will be listed:
Weapon:
Demonic Solar Eruption (if there is a better modifier use it)

For defense:
Beetle Armor(with Beetle Shell)

(reforge these to warding or armored for more defense)
Paladin Shield
Celestial Stone
Band of Regeneration
Cross Necklace
Celestial Shell

Make sure to drink a Regeneration potion before the fight

For the arena:
Campfire
Heart Lantern
A pool of honey which you will stand on
Cover yourself with stone to avoid his laser

This method can be used to farm the Moon Lord which will come in handy if you want to get Luminite Bars.

[Eectricity]

Beetle armor set.
Upgrade the paladin's shield to frozen shield.
Replace the stone with something more useful as it does not stack.
Upgrade regen band to charm of myths
Upgrade cross necklace to star veil
If you're on expert use shiny stone too
Master use Fire gauntlet or Berserkers glove.

Use Ichor flasks, Sake/Ale, Sharpening station.
Regen buff obviously, Endurance, Ironskin, Wrath.

note: you should build the shelter a bit bigger, Moon Lord's projectile explode on impact, so expanding it a bit to avoid damage will render you pretty much immortal, no need for health potions or ironskin

This was very helpful. I was able to farm the Moon Lord with an approach inspired by this - with a few changes.

A tip: the beam from the top eye can hit you so just make the blocks 2 blocks on the top of the box

jUST A MENTION! If youre trying to do this as a duo it wont work since Moon Lord gets more health and damage when more people join so its not worth trying to do this setup if youre not playing solo !

Eyebeam can now penetrate through blocks (on pc version).
Tried on expert with beetle armor, fire gauntlet, shiny stone, frozen shield, star veil, charm of myths, celestial shell. 5x warding and 1x menacing.

I didn't bother grinding for the shell or the regen band and used some greater healing pots instead and it worked like a charm!

you can also use an ironskin potion, heart statues, and a bast statue to maximize your defense and regeneration, also if you have shimmer toss a life fruit and a heart crystal in to get a permanent buff to your regen and defense, but keep in mind that you can only use 1 on your character

thanks for the tip I'll try this. I wish I found this sooner though since I legit made a one block path spanning across my entire medium sized world, over like 4k or 5k blocks.

TIPS:
1.Have the dryad and healer npc nearby for a bit of health and fast healing if you can use potions in that moment
2.Make the square bigger because the attacks splash and will kill you
3.Make the square thicker because in expert mode his laser sometimes won’t hit u

You clan switch out the band for a shiny stone from golden if you’re in expert mode, and I would also recommend a brain of Cthulhu in expert or a black belt from bone lees in the dungeon

Note: you can put 3 boxes of lava on the hands and eye, and maybe add a statue (don’t know the name) that adds 5 defense to you and also he states that you should kill the hands first but basically even who had fought the boss had found that it is much easier instead to go for the eye first and maybe put a heart statue in the container with you also

If you’re using the band then you might as well turn it into a charm of myths and the cros necklace into a Star necklace
