JavaScript Tutorial | Beginner | Setting Up System & Creating First Script | Chap-1 | Part-2

Part two of Javascript Tutorial will show us how to install Brackets (from Adobe Systems), an open-source text editor, and we will also have a first glance at creating our first Javascript file. After making our first Javascript file, we shall start coding by writing our first variable and passing it to the built-in alert function. Once we have completed with the Javascript code, then we will move on to creating an HTML page that will run our Javascript code. We need to remember that Javascript files cannot run by themselves unless they're referenced by an HTML document. After writing the HTML markup, we will use Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer to test our code and look at a live demonstration at the ways that the browsers react to our Javascript code.
