Hey Guys !
I find some great gear that can get you on the trail , keep you warm and comfortable at a great price!
I find a very affordable sleep pad called the Sleepingo that is super durable. I also review a great sleeping bag by Teton Sports called the Trailhead 20 to keep you warm. I check out the sturdy and budget friendly Trekology YIZI GO Portable Camping Chair. And finally I check out the Alps Lynx 1- person tent by Alps Mountaineering, which is a great 1 person tent with a full vestibule. I also have a bonus camp item I review to save you a couple bucks!!!

Great recommendations, love my Sleepingo. I am a side sleeper and it has been great in a lean-to and on the ground. I also have an Alps Tent, the Aries 3. I have had it for several years and works really well. Nice video, new sub.

Love your vids! I started backpacking last year and did a lot of purchasing on Amazon. Been using the same $75 tent all year, about 30 nights in total. Would always recommend beginners to go budget! Upgrade as needed!

I have the Teton bag and love it. Thank you for pointing out that the 20 degree rating is the survival rating and NOT the comfort rating. A lot of people new to the community won't know that and can find themselves in a very uncomfortable sleeping environment. And that alone could turn them off ever backpacking again. It's good to note, though, that Trekology also makes a sleeping bag liner that will give you another 8-10 degrees for comfort (depending on a bunch of factors, of course). It adds a bit of weight but for very little money, relatively speaking, you end up with a comfort rating of under 30 degrees.

Great recommendations just in time for the hoilday season. I definitely need to look into a chair. Im getting too old to be sitting on the ground

I think I already have that plastic utensil set. Thanks for the great info on budget decent quality gear. That tent, chair, and sleep pad are very reasonable. I watched your video camping in a blizzard by your house. That was funny. Stay safe.

I picked up a couple of UCO switches, they're great.

I have the first two items you showed and use them all the time. The Sleepingo and the Uco Switch. I’m an old backpacker for over 50 years. Those are great items for any stage of backpacking and budget friendly helps too.

I have the UCO Switch, and I love it! I carry it in my lunchbox to work as well for backpacking. I ended up going back and getting my boyfriend and mom sets as well. I've also found them at Sierra where they're $5.99. I've been eyeing the Sleepingo. I think I'll have to pull the trigger and try it. Thanks for the great recommendations!

Just got the Sleepingo. Haven't tested it on trail yet, but was very easy to blow up and deflate!
