Lost Etabs Model ? Here's how to recover it !

Shit happens when u lose your Etabs mode file for various reasons. One wonders if there was a way to get back your model file. Its quite easy actually. You won't find many videos on youtube regarding this process. So I decided to make one for myself and for you.

1. Open your Etabs application
2. Click on File
3. Click on Import
4. Click on Etabs .e2k file on the next drop down list.
5. Open the folder where you last saved your model file.
6. Click on the name of your lost file with the .$et extension
7. Your model will now open.
8. Save it using a different name.
9. Don't forget to save it occassionally.
